Optima fail

heres what happened to my 4 year old optima yellowtop. not sure what caused it to do this the battery was never abused. i don't think id buy this particular model again. im under the impression that the models with the GM terminals on the front give the posts more strength. when I went to remove the sae terminal from the cracked post the post broke off . optimas are my favorite batteries however this is a cause for concern. the battery still maintains a charge sitting behind the house.
